 Sculpture 1.2

Sculpture 1.2 is a autonomous multimedia object aware of her location in space in time. During the festival, Sculpture 1.2 will be installed as an administrative desk in the Conflux headquarters. Every hour Sculpture will take a picture of her surroundings and send it as a tweet to @iamsculpture along with the text "I am here. [###][-###]" (#'s indicate GPS coordinates). Anyone can interact with Sculpture via a tweet to @iamsculpture, calling her voicemail (718-347-6736), or sending her an email (iamsculpture@gmail.com). Sculpture is able to transpose the voicemails from speech into text and automatically print a copy of the message for visitors to read. During Conflux, Sculpture 1.2 will accept emails from other participants in the festival about their specific projects. These emails will immediately and automatically print themselves out from the installation at Conflux headquarters as event fliers. The events will also post to Sculpture 1.2’s Facebook page.
