 Public Utility Trail Network

Public Utility Trail Network re-interprets the marks ConEdison and other public utilities paint onto sidewalks around the city as trail markers in a network of hiking/walking trails for pedestrians. For Conflux, this project will map out trails around the HQ and in the East Village. Small, temporary signs will be attached to existing sign posts around the neighborhood indicating trail heads and the particular color or types of markings to follow on a given trail. Small boxes with free maps of the trail network will also be attached to the signposts. Additionally, the trail map will be available as a Google map and as a downloadable PDF.
