Artist: Harvey Loves Harvey

Two individuals armed with wanted posters of each other, seek neighborhood help to catch the other person.

Harvey Loves Harvey, the collaborative team of Jason Dean and Matthew Nash, are on the hunt for each other with the help of an observant public. Each member will try to locate the other through photocopied flyers posted in the Williamsburg area. The flyers will show the other member’s face, a short description and a phone number for the member of Harvey who is looking for them. The artists will remain within a narrowly-defined area of Brooklyn for the duration of the piece. Each of the artists will start in a predetermined location within this defined area, and will begin posting flyers. Both members will be guided by calls from people who have seen the flyers, with the goal of eventually helping one member ‘catch’ the other. Both participants will keep track of the number of calls received that help locate the other member. The piece will conclude when one member wins, and the losing member will be required to go take down all the flyers.
