Low tech drone that wanders the cities measuring co2, electromagnetic contamination and maps them using gps and wireless data.
BereBere stands for the nomad tribes in the sahara, Berebere is a greenbot that measures data like co2, electromagnetic fiels and plots this using a g.p.s and a wireless detector. We are 4 artists that use this data to create sonifications and visualizations both in realtime via OSC (Open Sound Control) and offline, via processing and puredata to name a few.
BereBere runs on free software.
Conflux is the annual NYC festival for contemporary psychogeography where international artists, technologists, urban adventurers and the public put investigations of everyday city life into practice on the streets.
