Petra Farinha is an interaction designer and educator based in Lisbon, Portugal.
She graduated from the M.A.Digital Arts program in the Catholic University of Oporto, Sound and Image departament in September 2001 and since then she has been teaching multimedia and interaction design courses at ESAD, Caldas
da Rainha, Portugal. She has been also working as a freelancer designer.

Recently she decided to quit her job as an educator and move to New York with her boyfriend. Here she works as a freelancer designer and doing an internship at Eyebeam, in the educational lab with Liz Slagus and Benton-C-Bainbridge.

In September, she will return to school for her second master degree at NYU, in the Interactive Telecommunications Program, ITP, Tisch School of Arts
