Benjamin Thorr Brown

I am an artist and documentary filmmaker born in New York. I have been working in Latin America for the past 9 months on projects about the landless movements in Paraguay, Bolivia, and Colombia. My feature length project is about the displacement of thousands of Paraguayan farmers as a result of the growing soy industry. The concept for my Conflux project proposal "Replacement Pickles" draws upon experiences of displacement in the context of NYC.
